Since my last blog post, there has been a lot of water under the bridge, politically, and a lot of excuses for the failure of almost every policy of this Labor government. Whether it’s pink batts, the education revolution, or Labor’s immigration policy, the results have been disastrous. Add to that the Carbon Tax that we were told would never happen and we have a government that hasn’t delivered one positive initiative.
In many sectors, particularly business, this government is regarded as the worst government in history. Strong words when you consider that the Whitlam government was thrown out on its ear for mis-management of the nations’s finances after only three years. However, where the Whitlam regime delivered on many fronts, and many to be applauded, while still sending the country broke, this nascent Rudd/Gillard government has failed at every turn, lying to the Australian public and achieving nothing more than ensuring their own parliamentary pensions come the day of the election.
That is why I’m blogging again.
